From a very young age it was apparent that Katie was her own person. She lived by her own set of rules and was very strong willed. If there was a way to make something happen, Katie figured it out and eventually got her way. From the very first day I met her she accepted me into the family, no questions asked, without prejudice. She has always been very accepting and receiving of others, that is unless you have done something to cross her or hurt her family!!
